Peacefully, in his sleep at his home on Friday, February 20th, 2015.

Beloved husband of Carol Underwood predeceased. Loving father of Brian (Sharon), Dennis (Norine), Doug (Sonia) and Janice (Fern Vizza). Dear step father of Susan Bigras (David), David MacDormand and Vicki Lafave. Cherished grandfather of Ian, Kirk, Erik, Kim, Naiya, Mason, Patricia, Megan, Shannon, Bauer, Corey, Cody and Shelby. Dear son of Earl and Bessie Underwood both predeceased. Dear brother of John (Joyce, predeceased), Diane, Elizabeth (Ron Williams), and predeceased by Shirley. Born in Moncton, N.B., he married Carol in Sudbury in 1974. He served as a teacher with the Sudbury Board of Education for 28 years, retiring in 1987. Earl had a real passion for minerals and was active with the North Metal Detecting Club and the Gem and Mineral Show.

A Celebration of Earl’s Life will be held
at the
Lougheed Funeral Home
252 Regent St., at Hazel St.
Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 2:30pm
Cremation.
