The Quinn family announces with sadness the peaceful passing of Gordon on March 8th, 2016 at his Walford residence in Sudbury. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Lloyd) predeceased. Loving father of Gord (Barbara) and Maggie. Cherished grandfather of Andrew (Angela), Dylan, Jared, Angela (Michel) and Laurie. Will be missed by great grandchildren Mackenzie, Liam, Ethan and Brandon. Predeceased by parents Louis and Tillie (nee Bush). Dear brother of Grace. Predeceased by brothers Charles, Elmer and Lawrence, and sisters Alice, Dorothy, Muriel and Peg. Will be missed by friends and numerous nieces and nephews. Gord worked at Inco Ltd. in mechanical. he was an avid bowler, loved woodworking, playing cribbage with friends, enjoyed reading and watching basketball. Enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed. Thank you to all the staff at The Walford who treated Gord with loving care and respect. At his request, the will be no visitation or service. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Hard of Hearing (Sudbury Chapter) would be greatly appreciated.
