Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury.

Beloved husband of Marjorie Jones (nee Pawson) predeceased February 4th, 2016. Loving father of Heather Jones, Robert “Bruce” Jones (wife Susan), “Douglas” Norman Jones (wife Beverley), and John “Scott” Jones (wife Carolyn). Cherished grandfather of Sean, Gregory, Ashley, Kristin, Ryan, Katie, Shannon, Tiffany, Drew, Mitchell, Liam, and Hudson, and 9 great grandchildren. Dear son of John George and Mary (nee Blinkhorn) Jones both predeceased.
Born and raised in Sudbury, Stanley married Marjorie in 1951. Stanley worked at the INCO Maintenance Department for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club, Caruso Golden Age Club and the Older Adult Center. Stanley was a skilled woodworker, as well as an innovative and highly capable handyman. He was, however, happiest in his workshop building furniture for his family who were the center of his life.
A very special thanks to the wonderfully caring nursing staff, doctors and the Shared Care Team at Maison Vale Hospice for their compassionate care, for everything they do daily not only for us, but for everyone and to the doctors and staff at the Cancer Centre. If it were not for the amazing caregivers coming to the house on a daily basis dad would not have been able to remain in his home as long as he did. To you we extend our heartfelt thanks, we are very grateful for everything you did.

Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery.
