The loss of a close friend that has been a companion since childhood is never an easy thing to face. But when that person has been more than just a friend, the loss brings on a whole new range of emotions. The simple fact of never being able to talk, joke and laugh with them again leaves you feeling empty and confused.
This human life we lead can be a challenge but Neil was an obvious example of a person who was capable of bringing you up and out of the darkness.
We shared many things over the years and always enjoyed those times.
Neil was always dedicated to family and friends and never kept score. He did what needed to be done with love and generosity.
I will always remember him and the friendship we had together. «Steel Neil» was one of a kind and we will never have another person like him in our lives. His unique character and sharp tongue will only be a memory for me now. But it will be one of my best and strongest memories until I join him and we jam out and laugh like fools in the sky.

Condolence: I worked with Neil at Totten Mine as a fellow hoistman and I'll never forget the laughs we had together especially on night shift. It was a privilege to know Neil. My condolences to Neil's family.
