Condolence From: Theresa OWL Labelle
Condolence: One of my first thoughts was..."Now who am I going to look up to?"...then I realized I will still look up to her...I just have to look higher :)
Your Mom has touched so many people in so many special ways.
I'll always remember her smile...her laughter...most of all her strength!!!
I had so much respect for her...and will always cherish the memories. When she came to see me at Enjikendaasang (little blue building)and proposed that we put on a Basket-making Workshop...I could not refuse her :)I loved watching her teach with patience and humour...how she took her students out to the bush to identify, cut down and pound ash. I think, they expected to be furnished with the materials without the "field trip"...lol
Anyways...your Mom will always hold a special place in my heart :)
