Sunday, February 5th, 2017 at Finlandia Village, Sudbury.

Beloved wife of Albert “Bert” McGoey predeceased 2006. Loving mother of Louise (husband Jacques Martel). Cherished grandmother of Jean-Pierre (wife Elizabeth) and Nathalie (husband Danny) and great grandchildren Marie-Elise, Marc-Andre, Alexandre, Kaliana and Sebastien. Dear daughter of Ted and Jeanne LaRocque predeceased. Dear sister of Guy (Claudette) and Gerald (Yolande) and predeceased by Gustave (Monique), Jules (Ginette), Fernand (Veronique) and Denis (Louise). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Full of the sense of adventure, and as a newly graduated nurse, Gabrielle took on a nursing position in the northern part of Quebec where the conditions were rather primitive. After completing the contract, she then worked as a nurse/receptionist for a doctor in Val Dor. Retirement brought more adventure in Florida... she and my father had a grand time with friends playing golf, swimming, walking by the ocean waters and collecting shells, and so on. Ontario summers were blueberry picking time, golf and enjoying the outdoors. She was a warm and loving mother and grandmother... she enjoyed visits from family immensely. She will be greatly missed.

Cremation with interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery.
