Beloved wife of Ray Kainulainen predeceased 2006. Loving mother of Kevin (Nancy), Kerry (Kathy), Karen Bilinsky (Rob), predeceased by her son in law Lawrence. Cherished grandmother of Kristopher (Ashley), Kyle (Leanne), Laryssa (David), Kayla (Curtis), Timothy (Mimi) and great grandchildren Ari and Ava.

Dear daughter of David and Selma (Makela) Ritari predeceased. Dear sister of Arne predeceased (wife Marian) and Ralph (wife Ruth), both predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.

June was born in Waters Township. She married Ray Kainulainen in 1959 in Sudbury. She had been a secretary with the Town of Walden retiring in 1995 with 21 ½ years of service. June loved life and lived it to the fullest. She had many interests and passions which included gardening, music, singing, dance and artwork (drawings). She had authored a book on the history of Fairbanks Lake and she had been a fitness instructor for seniors in Walden. She was devoted to her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Interment in the family plot at Whitefish Public Cemetery.
