Obituary for Gerard Joseph "Gerry" Tremblay

Gerard Joseph "Gerry" Tremblay
In Loving Memory
of
Gérard Joseph “Gerry” Tremblay
76 years
Thursday, February 16th, 2017 at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury.

Loving husband of Solange (née Lavallee) Tremblay. Loving father of Guy Tremblay (Tania), Angèle Tremblay ( Al Davidson), Carole Tremblay, and Pierre Tremblay (Dominique). Cherished grandfather of Nicholas (Carissa), Mélanie, Michel, Garrett, Daniel (Kendra), Jessica, and great-grandchildren Kohen, Alex, and Lincoln. Dear son of Eugene and Delisca (née Richer) Tremblay both predeceased. Dear brother of Leo Tremblay (Lucienne), Ernie Tremblay predeceased (Rollande), and Ray Tremblay (Peggy) and predeceased by Larry, Jackie, and Roger. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Gerry was married to his loving wife for 55 years. He was proud of his children and shared with them values that were important to him: strength, laughter, family and helpfulness. He especially cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gerry loved the outdoors, camp fires and a good shore lunch. He will also be remembered for his physical strength, firm hand shake and strong work ethic. “Slow but sure” was his motto. Not only did he say these words often but he lived by them.

À la douce mémoire
de
Gérard Joseph « Gerry » Tremblay
76 ans

«Slow but sure» était sa devise.
