Peacefully passed away on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury with family by her side.

Beloved wife of Leeland Blois predeceased 2012. Loving mother of Sally Robinson (Ned predeceased), Tim (Denise), Dan (Dena) and Angie Gionet. Cherished grandma of Jennifer Robinson, Emily Gionet, Isabelle Gionet, Paul Simon, Luc Brousseau and Julie Rooley. Dear daughter of Alfred and Beatrice McBride predeceased. Dear sister of Josephine Powers (Levi predeceased), Helen Phillips, Shirley O’Hara (Leo predeceased), Freda Sangster (Harold) and predeceased by William McBride (Glenda predeceased).

She was born in Blomidon, Nova Scotia, met Leeland, they moved to Toronto where they married on July 2, 1955, finally settling in Sudbury. Madeline was a loving and giving person. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, shopping and visiting with friends and family. She was a devoted wife and mother.
