Peacefully, Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 at Health Sciences North, with loving family at her side.

Beloved wife of Dan Chabot. Loving mother of Monique Dunlop (husband James), Nicole Rheault (husband Gary), Claude Chabot (wife Lora), and Gisele Sheehan (husband Phil). Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Joseph and Laura (née Marion) Laframboise both predeceased. Dear sister of Sister Yvette predeceased, Lionel predeceased, Marcel (wife Claudette), Anita Black (husband Don), Claudette Dube (husband Clement), Georgette Lavallee (husband Cecil predeceased), Gilbert predeceased (wife Donalda), and Gerry Quinn (wife Diane). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Claire was born in Iroquois Falls. She married Dan Chabot in 1954 in Warren. She was a longtime and well-liked Minnow Lake resident. During her life, she had belonged to Club 111 Seniors, Joie de Vivre Club Santé, and the Daughters of Isabella. A devout Roman Catholic, she attended Holy Redeemer Church. She was devoted to her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 1pm.
Cremation with interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
