Obituary for Stellina Peloso (Miani)

In Loving Memory of
Stellina Peloso (nee Miani)
We are deeply saddened to share the news that our beautiful Mother and precious Nonni passed away peacefully and surrounded with Love at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on March 15th, 2017 at the age of 92.

Stellina was born in San Vito di Fagagna, Friuli Italy and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1958. She was a woman of great integrity with a strong work ethic and excelled in all she did. Stellina was a wonderful cook, a master seamstress, loved to crochet and knit, and tended to her vegetable garden until she was 85. Above all though, her family was her life. With a love so pure and genuine, Stellina showed to all of us the fine art of a life well lived. She embraced whatever life sent her way with a positive attitude. Never a harsh word, judgment or complaint, Stellina was a true friend and confidante to many. Her time spent at the Walford for the past six years was of fun and friendships. In Stellina’s words “Everything is perfect – I’m Living like a queen!” Gosh, we will all miss her so very much. Beloved wife of Luigi Peloso (predeceased 1992). Loving mother of Neil (Linda) and Mario (Judy), and cherished Nonni of Logan (Jennifer), Kyle, Samantha and Alexia. Survived by her sister in law Ida Cecconi of Italy and by her nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
