Beloved husband of 53 years to Gladys Abigail (nee Bursey). Loving father of Shawn Abigail (wife Karen) and Katherine Smith. Cherished Poppa of Tristan, Keeley, Zackary, Kaitlyn, Bethany, Joel and Hannah & great Poppa of Candon and Olive. Predeceased by his parents Hubert & Catherine Abigail (nee Reynolds) and his brother William “Bill” Abigail. Survived by his sister Betty Wright (Clayton).

A memorial service will be held at Church of the Ascension (1476 Sparks Street, Sudbury) Sunday, March 19th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation and burial alongside his parents at the Park Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium in the spring. Donations to Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
