Beloved wife of Alexis Desforges (predeceased 1972). Loving mother of Noella (Rene), Gerald (Diane), William (Anita), Lucille (Doug), François (Diane), Nicole (Paul predeceased 2011), Susan (Denis and ex. husband Raymond Lalonde), Norman (Brenda), Denis (predeceased 2004) (Lori), Gisèle (Roland), Claudette and Victor. Cherished grandmother of 36 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Siméon and Antoinette St. Georges, her son Jerome (predeceased 1962), 2 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by her sisters; Aurore Venne (Lucien) & Anne Marie St. Georges, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff at Extendicare York on floors 2 and 5 for taking such good care of Rita.

Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial at a later date in St. John’s Cemetery in Garson.
