Condolence From: Carole Dugas
Condolence: Carol, Diane and Louise. I remember (a long time ago now) when you girls came to Sudbury for a visit with your dad in a camper-converted schoolbus. I remember thinking how cool it was that you got to sleep in hammocks. We (your dad, you girls, my mom Betty and myself went to to the beach (Sandy Beach in Val Caron) for a swim. We had a nice time.
We (my sister Diane and I) would have like to be able to bring my mom (Betty) to Sudbury today for your dad's funeral but would not have been able to organize in the time necessary to get there on time for the service. We did spend time instead reminiscing with my mom about (brotherly hijinks) but also about how well your dad looked after my mom when they were travelling together alone as children on the train. Your dad (young as he was) had been asked to look after his little sister for the trip which he did very well.
Our condolences to you Louise, Diane and Carol and to your families as well.

Condolence From: Debbie Lanktree (Jeannette's daughter)
Condolence: My condolences to Louise, Diane, Carol and their families. As kids my siblings and I enjoyed many hours on Trout Lake in our rowboat "Spunky" (with the glass eyes on the bottom). I remember being very impressed that my Uncle Aime had built it. He was a very creative and resourceful man.
I'm sorry I cannot be at the service today. I will be thinking of you and Uncle Aime.
