What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady! Iris, you will be missed beyond words. I know I haven't known you for a long time, but it sure was a good time! I will certainly miss my Thursday night visits with you. I will always treasure our talks, our laughs, your hugs, your great words of wisdom and you positive outlook on life. Your love for your children and grandchildren was so strong and beyond beautiful. You knew what mattered in life...family and friends. Besides my mom, I don't think I have ever met such an unselfish person. I promise to continue to visit your good buddies Percilla and Shirley better known alongside you as the other 2 "Golden Girls" I thank you for giving my mom one of the best few months she had in many years. She absolutely adored you. My family would like to extend our deepest condolences to your family. May you all find comfort in knowing how much Iris loved you all (and yes, she told me that over and over again) and will continue to do so as she watches over you. Rest in peace my dear friend.
