It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Kindrachuk (nee Chomyn) announces her passing on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017. She passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North at the age of 95.

Anna was born April 20, 1921 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan and attended school in Alvena and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Anna believed that family was the most precious gift in life. Loving mother of Linda Primeau (Marcel) of Killaloe, Ontario and Patricia Kindrachuk of Sudbury, Ontario. Proud grandmother “Baba” of Merisol Primeau (Scott MacPhie) of Arnprior and Joel Primeau (Ashleigh) of Ottawa. Adoring great grandmother of Kaden Primeau. Anna is survived by her sister Olga Ouellet, and sisters-in-law Elizabeth Rayner and Nettie Chomyn all of Saskatoon and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Dora (1968) and Theodorus (1976); brothers John, Bill, Peter, Alex, Fred, Nick and Mike and sisters infant Olga, Mary and Nellie. Anna loved her job and spent 28 years working at Plaza 69 Pharmacy until her retirement at age 80. She enjoyed meeting people and interacting with the public. She was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.

(Friends may call 2-4; 7-9pm Saturday and after 12noon Sunday)
Panakhyda at 7pm Saturday
Interment in the Civic Cemetery on Monday, April 10th, 2017 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory can be made to the Sudbury Ukrainian Seniors’ Centre.
