Obituary for Lise Marie Langridge (Dempsey)

In
Loving Memory
of
Lise Marie Langridge (Dempsey)
61 years
Passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family
on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017

Loving and devoted mother to her 4 boys, Tim (Tanya), Todd (Tracey), Trevor and Tyson (Carol Ann). Proud Grandma of her cherished grandbabies, Montana (Natasha), Dakota, Niah, Maddyson, Gracie, Dameon, Hunter and William. Lise was looking forward to meeting her first great grand child who is due in September. She will be deeply missed by her boys’ father and life long friend of 50 years Don Dempsey. Daughter of Gordon & Raymonde Langridge and Marcel & Louise Paquette all predeceased. Dear sister of Angel (Larry predeceased), Rachel, Darcelle (William), Marcel (Barbara) and Jo Anne. Adored Auntie Lise to her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her beloved canine companion Roxy and her dear friend of over 20 years Fiorina Christina Raso-Howard.
Lise was a valued employee at Pioneer Manor for over 20 years. At age 45 she went back to school and became a nurse, something that her family was very proud of her for. Very much a caregiver, Lise loved her job as a nurse with Pioneer Manor and was really lucky to have “her work family” who she loved so much. She was a committed member of the CUPE Union. In her spare time, she loved camping, reading, road trips, laughing and spending time with her loving family, especially her grandbabies who always brought a smile to her face. Lise lived on her own terms; when she was diagnosed in the fall, it was her stubborn personality that kept her with us longer than anticipated by doctors. She was a fighter.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at CCAC, Bayshore (especially Jenna), Dr. Walton, Dr. Noble and Dr. Chang for their care and compassion. The family would also like to thank the amazing staff and Support Team at Pioneer Manor, and all of her nieces, family members and friends who cared for and supported her throughout her brief illness. We would especially like to thank our angel Tanya, for taking such wonderful care of Mom and to Roxy, who brought Mom so much happiness and joy.
