It is with sadness the family announces her passing in her 90th year, at Extendicare York, Sudbury, after a lengthy illness. Survived by daughter Peigi (Seppo Haapamaki) of Sudbury, and son Peter (Sandra) of Everett, grandchildren Alexandra of Toronto, and Andrew of Everett. Also survived by many cousins in Canada, the United States and Finland. Predeceased by her parents Jalmar and Linnea Korri, and her brother Kauno.

A celebration of Helen’s life and interment of ashes will take place July 5 in Timmins. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stoke fund or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
