Peacefully, Monday, April 17th, 2017 at Extendicare York, Sudbury.

Beloved wife of Ronald MacDonald predeceased 2014. Loving mother of Bruce (Lisa), Brad (Carrie) and Brent (Nancy). Cherished grandmother of Kirk, Shelby and Lauren. Dear daughter of Jack and Evelyn (Donnell) Newstead both predeceased. Dear sister of Shirley Denis (husband Jim) both predeceased, Cathy Wilson (husband Walter) both predeceased, Bill Newstead (wife Eileen) both predeceased, Vernon “Bunny” Newstead (wife Marion) both predeceased and Earl Newstead predeceased. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews.

Jackie will be remembered as an excellent cook especially for her cakes and pies, she was an accomplished athlete especially at figure skating and created beautiful ceramic pieces. She enjoyed travelling and spending her winters at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was devoted to her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
