Condolence: Unfortunately I just found out of Maurice's passing which took place about 2 1/2 years ago, last time I had seen him was in high school, he was a good friend, time has done a poor job of making his passing easier to accept.
My fondest memories are of wrestling with him on the school team, and doing the iron cross on the rings, he could always do that a bit better.
I offer my condolences to all whose lives were made richer and better from knowing him.

Condolence: Uncle Maurice, was how I was introduced to Maurice all those years ago and still how I refer to him in thoughts and stories today. He was the "ambassador of the north" always making sure that we had everything we needed and made extra sure we had a great time when visiting Monetville, all the while still managing somehow to teach us some life lessons.

Condolence: My condolences to Vera, Renée, Vincent and Grandchildren. I was very saddened to hear of Maurice’s passing. I was fortunate to meet Maurice through my cottage on the French River. He was often there to work or visit, however, he seldom came without bring me some of his great cooking and great stories. He was so very proud of his family and he always had a story or two of what they were up to. He often regaled me with stories of growing up on the family farm in Monetville. I think the memory of Maurice that I will most cherish is the warm, friendly smile as he approached my dock in his boat. Thanks for being a friend Maurice, rest in peace.

We were very fortunate to get to know Maurice well when he built our home and more recently when we worked again with him on our son's house renovations. The pride he took in his work is evident in both our homes.
His kindness and generous nature was so evident. Apart from being our contractor, he was also a cousin, so lunch time was spent enjoying his delicious homemade soups and sharing family stories.
He was a special man and we, like so many will miss very much.
