It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Guy Pellerin. Surrounded by his dear family, Jean-Guy passed away peacefully Friday, April 28th, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury following a courageous battle with cancer.

Cherished soul mate and best friend to his wife Susan (nee Prince) of Sudbury. Beloved father of Suzanne Pellerin of Sudbury. Dear grandfather of Samantha, David and Derek and great grandfather to Xavier, Derek Jr., and Carter. Born August 18th, 1952 in Cloutier, Quebec to Arthur Pellerin and Laurentia (nee Grenier) both predeceased. Sadly missed by his siblings Denise, Jeaninne (Henri), Therese (Jean Pierre), Madeleine, Aline (predeceased) (husband Reg), Nicole (Steve), Laurette (Roger), Jacques (Alice), Robert, Leo (Dianne), Henri predeceased (Linda). Also sadly missed by his canine friend Lady whom he loved to go for long walks with. Retiring after 30 years at INCO, Jean-Guy loved fishing and camping especially when his wife and dog would come along. The family would like to thank everyone at the Cancer Centre especially Dr. Scott Young, nurse Tara Imbeau, Dr. Pearce, nurse Barbara Kaitila, and also Dr. Knight for their help.
In keeping with Jean-Guy’s wishes there is no visitation. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations to the N.C.F. Centre or the SPCA would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury.
