Obituary for
Reginald Charles "Reg" Wainman
In Loving Memory
of
Reginald Charles “Reg” Wainman
84 Years
peacefully after a long journey with failing health on Thursday, May 4th, 2017 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved husband of 61 years to Irene (Terava) Wainman. Proud father of Gord, Bruce (Thorel), Sharon
(Mack), Grant predeceased (Vesna). Loving grandfather (Poppa) of Liisa, Markku and Mason. Dear
brother of Maxine, William (Bill) and Richard (Dick) all predeceased. Special uncle to loving nieces and nephews and nephews.
Reg enjoyed the car business, selling, buying. He was a manager working hard every day starting with
McLeod Motors and ending with Kelly at Campbell Chevrolet.
In his early days he enjoyed spending his summer spending time at his camp at Burnt Lake. There was fishing, water skiing, boat rides, lots of time in the sauna and everyone had a good holiday. Later Reg loved to golf and had a membership at Cedar Green for years and in the winter he curled with friends and family, and he skied as well.
Reg loved his home and his efforts produced beautiful flowers and shrubs. Winters were spent visiting Myrtle Beach and also enjoying special times with Sharon, Mason & Mack at their home in Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed many trips with motor home travel to Expo with all the kids, Santa Claus Village, Marineland and many other interesting destinations. “Pops will be missed”
