Beloved husband of Nada Bobesich (Lucic) predeceased 1988 and Vera Bobesich (Bicak). Loving father of Gordon Bobesich (wife Kathryn), Nadica (husband Jim Sloan), and John Bobesich. Dear stepfather of Zeliko Bicak (wife Nella) and Christian Bicak. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear son of Fabian and Barbara (Rozic) Bobesich both predeceased. Dear brother of Stjepan Bobesich of Croatia.

John was born in Selo Buševac, Croatia, in 1925 and came to Canada in 1954, settling in Windsor. He came to Sudbury in 1955 and went to work for INCO Limited in the machine shop at the Copper Cliff Smelter. He retired in 1985 with 30 years of service. He was a member of the INCO Pensioner Club, INCO Quarter Century Club, Croatian Peasant Society, Croatian Pensioners Club, member of Sveti Marko Croatian Church, member of the church choir, and a member of the Hunters and Anglers Club of Ontario. John enjoyed spending time at his camp on Nepewassi Lake.
