Beloved husband of 60 years to Ilene (nee Gauthier). Loving father of Rick Legree (Lorelie), Colleen Murphy (David) and Darcy Legree. Cherished grandpa of Andrew, Ashley, Zack, Leanne, Brian, Justan, Shonah & Nicole and great grandpa of Liam, Oliver & Garen. Predeceased by his parents Alfred & Annie Legree (nee McNulty) and his sisters Joan, Donna, Gail and Diane. He will be missed by his many friends.

Mike worked as a crane operator at INCO for over 30 years retiring in 1990. After retirement he and Ilene spent a lot of time travelling around the world. They enjoyed many summers with family and friends at their cottage on French River. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and working on his many outdoor projects. He was happiest when he was with his loving family, especially his grandkids.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at Health Sciences North – 4th floor North tower for their excellent care and compassion.
Memorial Mass

St. Andrew the Apostle Church
(1250 Barry Downe Road, Sudbury)
Saturday, May 27th, 2017
at 10:00 a.m.
(Friends may gather at the church on Saturday after 9:30 a.m.)
Cremation at the Park Lawn Cemetery.
Interment in the Civic Cemetery Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
