Long-time friend and wife of Doug Fox. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends throughout Ontario. Awakening Woman is her spirit name, throughout her life this name would come to symbolize the way she walked and shared her experiences with those who sought her advice. She was gifted with the ability to bring others to some form of awakening in their own healing journey and was passionate about those who were considered to be on the fringes of society. She shared everything she had and brought humour to situations that most would find difficult and overwhelming. She lived most of her life in the Sudbury area and loved her family. She loved the sound of the drum, dancing at pow wows, family gatherings and visiting friends. She touched many lives with her compassion, courage and love. Baamaapii giga-wabaamin minwaa.
