Condolence: Mme Émond-Thériault was my history teacher. I was in her class when 9/11 happened. She rolled in the TV and we watched for hours. It could have been a depressing moment in history, but I recall her telling us to look for the helpers, such as the first responders, because love, even in the most horrendous of situations, would always prevail. She took the time to answers our questions and acknowledge our fears, treating us with as much respect she would have probably given to grown adults. I learned a lot about the beauty of humanity that day, and I will never forget her lessons. Merci Mme Émond-Thériault.
