Peacefully Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side.

Beloved husband of Gina (Bot) Chiarello predeceased 2011. Loving father of Augusto “Gus” Chiarello (wife Vincenza), Carla Mozzon (husband Frank) and Luigi Chiarello (wife Franca). Cherished Nonno of Michael, Vanessa, Christina, Nicholas, Angela and Brianna. Dear son of Pietro and Augusta Chiarello predeceased. Dear brother of Luigi Chiarello (wife Stella) both predeceased, Tacesio Chiarello predeceased (wife Emma), Giuseppe Chiarello (wife Amelia) both predeceased and Brother Mario Chiarello of Italy. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Italy, Vittorio came to Canada in 1956. He married Gina (Bot) in 1957. They moved to Sudbury in 1978 from Oakville. He was a supervisor at Bot Construction having a career of over 40 years. He was a proud winemaker, and keen card player. Vic will be remembered for his inspired work ethic which he proudly shared with others. Always having welcoming home, Vic would share a good glass of wine, a piece of salami, and cheese with visitors. The focus of his life was his family. He was happiest when in their company. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
