Proud great uncle to many more nieces and nephews.
Steve began his career with INCO at the Coniston Smelter in 1947 and retired from INCO’s Iron Ore Recovery Plant after a distinguished 40 years of service. When he wasn’t working and into his retirement years Steve enjoyed throwing rocks at the Sudbury Curling Club and playing darts at the Colonial Inn in Coniston. He was also an original member of the Twin Stacks Golf Club and when he wasn’t golfing during the summer months he enjoyed a few cold ones at the family camp watching his Toronto Blue Jays. Steve was also an avid traveler and saw much of the world while travelling with the Veselka Ukrainian Dancers.
We would like to sincerely thank the staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their compassionate care during Steve’s final hours there.
