Turiddo “Bebi” Roberti
86 Years
Peacefully Friday October 6, 2017 at Maison McCulloch Hospice with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Barzetti) Roberti. Loving father of Claudio (w. Angela) and Richard (w. Kristina Gobbo) and Angelo predeceased 1957. Cherished Nonno of Matthew predeceased 2001, Andrew (w. Sierra), Jacob and Abby. Dear son of Adriano and Maria (nee Boldrighini) Roberti predeceased. Dear brother of Astro (w.Luisa predeceased). Special uncle to Robert (w. Diana predeceased). Sadly missed by many cousins.
Born and raised in Fano, Italy Turiddo moved to Copper Cliff in 1951. He returned to Fano, Italy in 1955 and married Anna (nee Barzetti). He retired as a plate worker from the Copper Cliff Refinery having 42 years of service being the last plate worker prior to the closure of the refinery. Turiddo had a great affinity for the outdoors where he hunted and gardened. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Sudbury Wolves Fan. Turiddo had an inspiring work ethic and he will be remembered as a generous and determined person who was always quick to help others. He was devoted to his family. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
