OBITUARY - DELMO BORGOGELLI

With his family at his side, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years Irene (nee Lister). Father of Mark (Jane) of Sudbury, Lori Ballstadt (Dan) of Sault Ste. Marie, and Lynn Frost (Peter) of Toronto.

Proud Nono of Kyle Borgogelli (Nicole St. Jean), Kendall Charette (Eric), Samantha Ballstadt, and Matthew Frost. Great-Nono of Gabrielle Charette. Son of the late Angelo and late Aldemira Borgogelli. Dear brother of Velia Campanelli (late Orlando). Son-in-law of the late William and late Rose Lister. Brother-in-law of the late Roy Lister (Joyce), Percy Lister (Claudette Taus), Shirley Rosset (George), and Vernon Lister (Shirley). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Del was born in Copper Cliff in 1933 and grew up in the community of Gatchell. He worked as an electrician at Inco for close to 40 years. “Borgy” enjoyed spending summers at the camp on Trout Lake: during the winter season curling and cheering on the Sudbury Wolves were his favourite pastimes.

In keeping with Del’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society are appreciated by the family.
