From her warm and caring eyes, her slightly lopsided and quick grin, her genuine interest and curiosity when speaking with me, Mildred made an indelible impression on my 19 year old self. Seeming to be always in good humour and interested in all kinds of things Mildred was good company. I knew her as the mother of my dear friend, Cindy. Their mother-daughter bond, love and friendship so beautiful and unique... Thinking of you and wishing you all peace.
