Who passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 at Health Sciences North with loving family by her side.
Beloved wife of Joe Tebaldi (predeceased April 2012) of Sudbury. Loving mother of John, Patricia (Alex Dumas) and Sue (Doug Tulloch) of Sudbury. Cherished Nonna of
Giovanni (Gio), Jessica Dumas and Lauren and Lindsay Tulloch. Great grandmother of Avery and Rowan Baxter Derro, all of Sudbury. Predeceased by her parents Adalgisa and Giovanni Tombari of Fano, Italy. Dear sister of Giuseppe (Anna), Rina (Livio Zamora), Luigi (Elisa), Tina (Giordano Giommi) of Italy, and Mario (Maria) of Sudbury, and Bruno (Nadia) of Orillia. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Maria was born in Fano, Italy where she married Joe in 1950. They moved to Canada in 1957.
She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed having her family over for delicious Sunday dinners. She was a respected seamstress who worked out of her home, as many will remember. She later went to work part-time at Levine's Ladies Wear.
Maria devoted her life to her family. Her children and grandchildren were her true joy. She was a selfless woman and always placed the needs of her family first.
The family would like to thank the staff of 5 South at HSN for their care and compassion.
