In loving memory of Diane Reid who passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 14th, 2017 at the age of 60. Beloved wife and soul mate for over 30 years to Jean-Marc Bertrand. Cherished mother of Serena Luoma (Robert Grooms) of Lively, Peggy Luoma (Martin Bueckert) of Calgary and Terri Geddes (Patrick) of Azilda. Special Grandmother to Adam, Taylor, Anthony, Kyla, Oliver, Emmett, Brooklyn and Koen. Sadly missed by her canine pal Thunder. Dear daughter of Alban (predeceased) and Yvonne Reid of Sudbury. Dear sister of Linda Barei (Dan), Shirley Chamberlain (Allan), Brian Reid (Celine), Peggy Rose (Ray), Mike Reid (Monique), Lorna Jackson (Kevin), Sharon Pugliese (Bryan) and Laurie McVittie (Scott). She is the dear sister-in-law and best friend of Lynn Bertrand and missed by mother-in-law Lillian Bertrand and sister-in-law Kim Smith (Blaine). Remembered by her many nieces and nephews and friends. Diane was the manager of the Pet Food Warehouse for over 30 years. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and many have enjoyed her handmade Christmas balls. Diane was happiest when surrounded by her family and grandchildren listening and singing to music and playing cards with a nice glass of wine. In her spare time, you could find her in the garden or hiking the Sudbury trails. A special thanks to Dr. Tracy Hayes and the ICU staff at Health Sciences North for taking such good care of Diane.

A memorial mass will be held at Church of Christ the King, 30 Beech Street, Sudbury on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at 10am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Friends may call after 9:30am at the church. If desired, donations to the SPCA or the Elgin Street Mission would be appreciated.
