Born May 7, 1936 at Mindemoya, Manitoulin Island; passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Health Sciences North.
Cherished by his wife of 56 years Diane Bryan (nee Norris). He will be sadly missed by his four loving daughters Cathy Bryan, Nancy Garrett (Alan), Penny Shewchuk (David), and Cindy Bryan, and his loving grandchildren Justin, Chris, Samantha (Justin), and Kevin. Predeceased by his parents George and Hazel Bryan. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Ronald (predeceased) (Diane), Douglas (Simone), Marian Brydges (Clarence), and Daniel (Darlene) and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Gene was an avid outdoorsman, carpenter, and sports enthusiast. He devoted his life to his family and work. His quick-wit and strong steadfast presence will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Lung Association or The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
