Peacefully Wednesday evening, December 6, 2017 at Health Sciences North with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Brian Sawyer. Loving mother of Kayla Desrochers and Ashley Laperriere (Francois), and step-mother to Kirk Sawyer (Vanessa), Keith Sawyer (Ronda) and Jeffery Sawyer (Shauna). Cherished grandmother of two beautiful grandsons Xavier and Felix who were her pride and joy. Step-grandmother “G.G.” to Michael, Jeramy, Serenity, and Matthew. Sadly missed by Maurice Desrochers. Dear daughter of Robert and Georgette (Thibeault) Côté both predeceased. Loving sister of Denise Dulac (Phillippe), Gaetanne Lane (John Lane and Guy Rondeau both predeceased), Bob Ethier (Barb), and twin sister and best friend Gina Côté (Steve Cohen).Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Special godmother to Joey Bromley. Dear daughter in-law to Rollande Desrochers and Mary Sawyer.
The family expresses their appreciation to the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at Health Sciences North and the Cancer Care Centre for their excellent care, compassion and donations.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
