Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018.
Beloved husband of Patricia Ann Davey (nee Watkins) predeceased 2006. Loving father of Jan Kowaluk (husband Michael) and Carolyn Larocque (husband Terry). Cherished grandfather of Kyle (wife Krista), Kurt, Amber Fournier (husband Eric) and Alex (Brandy) and great grandchildren Brooklyn, Paige, Owen and Olivia. Dear son of Ernest and Gladys (Cook) Davey both predeceased. Dear brother of Gwen Huxley (husband Bill) both predeceased, Donald Worth (wife Pat predeceased) and Doug Worth predeceased (wife Daisy). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Howard was born in Haileybury on September 30, 1921, he was a survivor of the Haileybury fire of 1922. He is a World War II Veteran and worked as a Stationery Engineer for many years, but upon retirement he found his true passion when he opened Davey’s figure skating boutique. He was known for his jokes and many one-liners. Howard was a diehard Sudbury Wolves fan but he was his grandchildren’s biggest sports fan.
