Condolence: I am saddened to hear of Vivian's passing. On behalf of my family I want to extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Atkinson clan and extended family. Vivian's friendship meant a great deal to my mother who today expressed her love for her friend. Viv and Ron were dear friends of my parents, Jo and Joyce Forman, in the Sault. They were also so kind to me and my sister Janis. Whenever I saw Vivian when she visited with my mom, I was always taken by her mirth, her smile, her genuine warmth and positivity. I write this to you with much love for your mother. She glowed openly about all of her family and shone pure and warm light wherever she went. She was special, there's no doubt at all about that. Mourn and celebrate...the world was and is better for her being here.

Condolence: Dear family members,
It was with both sorrow and joy that we read of the passing of our beloved friend, Vivian. We join you in your loss, but rejoice that she is with the Lord.
It was always an encouragement to have her join us at our Thursday Interfaith Service at the Walford. Her interest and enthusiasm in the things of the Lord were always uplifting for all of us.
She had a number of hymns that she favoured; however, it was 'Nearer My God To Thee' for which we will always remember Vivian.
Well over a year ago she said to my wife that as she was getting older she realized the truth of this hymn. Without a doubt she recognized that as time grew shorter on earth she was being brought nearer to her God. Every service she would ask us to sing that hymn. During her absence Petro would remind us and ask that we sing it for Vivian's sake.
Our prayer is that you will find comfort in the many precious memories you have and that you will grasp hold of the promises of the Lord Whom Vivian trusted. They are there in scripture for you as well. 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care on Him because He cares for you." and Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you or forsake you."
Vivian will truly be missed.
