It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Omer Michel Daoust at the age of 90. Peacefully at home on February 9th, 2018.
Loving husband of 67 years to Jeannine (Nault) Daoust. Loving father of Gilles (Diane), Denise, Suzanne (Joe) Bedard, Micheline (Andre) Bedard, Michel Jr. (Ann), Claire, Nicole (Gary) Poitras, Gisele (friend Vince) and Serge (Lorraine). Treasured grand-father of 18 grand-children and 16 great grand-children. Son of Firmin and Leonie (Lefebvre) Daoust (both predeceased). Dear brother of Leonida (Hector) Lauzon, Laura Putnum, Stephane (Jacqueline), Paul (Estelle), Joseph, Jeanne (Lloyd)Patterson, Madeleine (Francis) Teahen and Therese (all predeceased) and survived by Ernest (Lucille), Phillippe (Joyce predeceased), Pauline (Fernand Vincent predeceased), Rita (predeceased) (Gerry Castonguay), Roger (Lucie) and Manny (Estelle). Sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Michel was a Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs fan, loved playing casino, was a very talented musician especially playing guitar the best we ever heard. A special thanks to the nurses, PSWs and staff at Bayshore, CCAC, and the Palliative Shared Care Team, your services were greatly appreciated.
