In loving memory of Dorina (Pagnutti) Baldan who passed away on March 11, 2018 at the age of 93 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Frank Baldan (predeceased 2011) whom she married on March 11, 1953.
Loving and caring mother of Paul (Katherine) and George (Dr. Carole Mayer).
Cherished Nonna of Mia Rheault (Calvin) and Sophia Baldan.
Adoring Bisnonna of Jacob Rheault.
Born January 12, 1925 in San Daniele del Friuli, Italy to Teresa (nee Violino) and Luigi Pagnutti, both predeceased, Dorina was always proud of her Italian heritage.
Beloved sister of Peter (Erminia) Pagnutti, Maria Pagnutti, Marina (Giordano) Ermacora, Joseph “Beppi” (Mary) Pagnutti, Alfredo “Fred” (Amy) Pagnutti, and Fermina (Tobia) Michelutti all predeceased.
Dear sister-in-law of Milena (Guido predeceased) Zanon, Giorgio (Vale predeceased) Baldan, Marisa predeceased (Vittorio) Rottigni and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews in Venice, Italy. Special aunt to Marta (Luigino) Romanello and their daughter Michela in San Daniele, Italy.
Cherished aunt of Janice (Terry) Tyne, Don (Terry predeceased) Pagnutti ,(JoAnne), John Peloso predeceased (Patricia), Teresa Pagnutti, Lou (Jennifer) Pagnutti, Edera (Jack) Korry, Doug (Robbie Ann) Pagnutti, Philip Pagnutti (Diana) and their families. Very special aunt to Robert (Barbara) Michelutti of Michigan whose love and friendship was like that of a loving son.
In her early years, Dorina worked at Cecutti’s, Weston Bakeries, and Lebel Dry Cleaners.
She belonged to St. Clement’s and Our Lady of Hope parishes and was a 58-year member of the Catholic Women’s League.
Prayer was an important part of her daily routine.
She took great pride and pleasure in her family, home, friendships, and garden.
