It is with many tears and heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Claudette (nee Wohlfeld) Mehes on March 13th, 2018 at home with family by her side. Claudette will be sadly missed by her devoted and loving husband Mladen Mehes. Beloved and cherished mother to Christopher Mehes (wife Allison), Vanessa Bolhuis (husband Eelco Bolhuis) and Andrea Mehes (husband Kevin Arruda). Her greatest joys in life were her 8 precious grandchildren, Joshua, Ava, Klaas-Jan, Eli, Victoria, Paxtynn, Harrison and Vivienne. Cherished daughter to Claude and Helen (nee Clancy, predeceased) Wohlfeld. Dear sister to Mike Wohlfeld (Kathy) and Rob Wohlfeld (Brenda). She will be greatly missed by the Mehes brothers and sisters and their spouses (15), and by all her nieces and nephews (20). Claudette was born in Scarborough Ontario in 1956. Claudette and Mladen were married on August 13, 1977 (487 months). They lived in Sudbury, and then in Guelph. Claudette focused on raising her children, and saw them grow into strong beautiful adults who formed their own families and lives. She loved crafts of all sorts, many of which are in everyone's homes. Claudette's work life centred on home care, especially with children. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren. They were truly the sunshine of her life.

A private celebration will be held in St.Charles on March 16th, 2018.
