Obituary for Lawrence Arthur Joseph Boucher

BOUCHER, “Joe” Lawrence Arthur Joseph

Joe Boucher, 66, died on April 3, 2018 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury. He was the loved husband of Nancy and adored father of Ellis (Corissa) and Jessica. Beloved son of the late Irving and Erma Boucher. Cherished brother of Maurice (Margaret), Real (Sharron), Raymond (Yvonne), Estelle (Ronald) Violette and the late Ellis “Chubby” Marshall, Joyce (Ray) Ihamaki, Lucille (Richard) Sauve and Lloyd. Also cherished brother-in-law of Tony (Christine) DeCata. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins as well as many friends including Emily and his Cookie girl.

Joe aka “Rock Star” was a family man who dedicated his life to his wife and children (and the Montreal Canadiens, of course). He was a sports enthusiast, spending the summer on the golf course and the winter watching hockey, baseball and basketball. Joe was strong but compassionate, always watching out for others and caring for those in need. He will be missed but remembered and loved always.

Nancy, Ellis and Jessica would like to thank Joe’s doctors and the nurses at the hospice for their unwavering support. Joe’s family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
