Peacefully, Monday, April 9th, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
Beloved wife of Robert Mulcahey for 67 years. Loving mother of Michael (Leslie MacKinnon), Sandra, and Roseanne. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Angel Brazier), Kristie, Tara (Ryan McNamara), Santeria, and great-grandmother to Cooper, Gavin, twins Kian and Conall, Penelope, Brannach, and predeceased by Isabella. Loving daughter to Jerry and Rina Fulin both predeceased. Cherished sister to Romana Fulin (Aldo Tarini) predeceased, Linda Fulin (Bill Rossetto), brothers-in-law Father Harris Mulcahey, Lloyd Mulcahey (Rosita), Patrick Mulcahey (Dara) and Lawrence predeceased, and sisters-in-law Sister Cecila Mulcahey, Doreen (Mike Hickey), Teresa Mulcahey and Diane Mulcahey. Sadly missed by special friends Joy Conlin, Peggy Ringrose, Jeanine Feeley, Anita Van Emple, and Tony Comito.
Rita survived many bumps in the road and sacrificed all for her children and husband. She was a loyal and faithful member of Al-Anon and prayed the rosary every day. After 44 years of devoted service to Sears Canada Rita enjoyed a retirement party to remember. Rita was loved, respected and will be remembered for her love of cooking for family and others, her kindness, her smile, and generousity. She enjoyed the ladies social with super neighbours at Tamarack Co-Op.
At Rita’s request there will be no public service or visitation.
Donations to the Sudbury Food Bank or Blue Door Café would be appreciated.
Interment at St. John’s Cemetery in Garson, Ontario.
