In loving memory of Viola "Rebecca" Cianflone (nee Talarico) who passed away on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at Health Sciences North at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Tommaso Cianflone of Sudbury. Loving mother of Susan of Sudbury, Richard (Diane) of Wyoming and Daniel of Waterdown. Cherished grandmother of Luca Cianflone and Danny and Greg Bruhl. Predeceased by her parents Francesco and Maria Talarico. Dear sister of Giuseppe Talarico (Maria) of Italy and Franco Talarico (Elsa) of Sudbury and sister in law to Donald Cianflone of Toronto. Rebecca was more of a grandmother than an aunt to her nieces and nephews Francesco Talarico (Erminia), Luciana Negro (Mario) and Lina Critelli (Piero) all of Italy, Maria Talarico (David Garofalo) of Toronto, Angela Talarico (Chad Pitfield) of Sudbury, Teresa Talarico predeceased, Connie Quadrini (Gino) and Donald Cianflone Jr. (Laura) both of Toronto. She will be remembered by her many great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nursing and support staff at HSN 4 North for their compassion towards Rebecca and her family and Dr. Brad Long for his professional and caring manner.

Funeral prayers will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 3:30pm. Friends may gather after 2:30pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
