Condolence: My mother and I had the pleasure of knowing Ernie through our work at CIBC. It was always a treat to have the Brink's truck pull up to the bank because we knew Ernie would come in with a great big smile and always a story to tell. He loved the opportunity to say a few words in Ukrainian to us and we in turn wished him a good day also. My Mother so enjoyed the opportunity to visit with him here on the French River after her many years of retirement from the bank. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time of loss.

Condolence: My sympathy to all the family. You do not know me but I worked at Royal Bank on Durham Street for 37 years. Every time your Dad came into the bank he had a smile on his face and a joke for us. I never saw him have a bad day. We were all a happier bunch after one of his visits. I am sure he will be missed!

Condolence: Dear Auntie Marlene, Allan and Johnny and family. I'm deeply saddened to hear about Uncle Ernie. He was truly a treasure. I loved his laugh and the way he used to pick on me and call me "POOKIE or Pook". Used to laugh at the way Dad and Uncle Ernie would tease each other. Even though we didn't see each other much, we always knew he would be there if needed. I used to walk around and "BRAG" about my famous uncle who used to work for Brinks.
