Lori, Dona and family, We send our deepest condolences for your loss. Mercedes was such a love, such a beacon of light with her mischievous smile and twinkly eyes. We can picture her smiling at you from the heavens, rejoined with her true love Fern. We smile every time we think of Mercedes: watching you, Lori, come out of the water after your cross-lake Kelowna swim, and seeing the look of pride on your Mom's face. We also think back to that video that Dona took a few years ago, watching Mercedes as she inched her way into the water off Dona's dock. What an adventurous spirit she was.
