Condolence: Dear John, I just heard from Frank Gatto about Rose passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a rare and unforgettable individual who was the personification of grace, tact, wit mixed with a sunny disposition. Rose had the ability to make anyone feel comfortable in her presence. I cannot think of her without seeing her smile. There is no doubt that she is terribly missed and I send my sincere condolences and prayers. May you take some comfort in the thought that you will certainly some day meet again.

Condolence: Dear John, I can’t tell you how sorry we are to hear of Rose’s passing. Like all the ladies in our front office, Rose was an exceptional lady and very knowledgeable in all things administrative in our business. I will always remember her for her caring, kindness and dedication to her staff. I believe that was simply her nature. She was a gentle person and one who always looked for the good in people so she was certainly in the right business. I will always cherish her great sense of humour, especially when it came to the Pink Panther movies. I too shared her joy in watching Pink Panther movies so just mentioning Peter Sellers’ name brought us both to tears. John for many of us, and I dare say for our entire staff of the time, Rose was so much more than an Administrative Secretary. She looked after all of our needs in the office, always making sure we had all the relevant information before we had to make decisions on things like pensions, benefits, beneficiaries and sometimes just giving us some good motherly advice. In fact, that is what she was, a mother to all the young staff you hired and like any good mother she impacted all our lives in such a positive way. I know that in recent years, she has been quite ill and hasn’t had the quality of life she so deserved, but I have to believe she is in a far better place smiling down on all of us now. I can only imagine John, how difficult it is for you to lose your best friend so please know we are thinking of you and know we have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Dear John. Saddened to hear of Rose’s passing. She was the epitome of professionalism and always with a smile. I can think of few in my subsequent years of work who matched that level of grace and commitment. Be well. Murray Pope
