Peacefully on Monday, April 23rd, 2018 at Health Sciences North, surrounded by loving family.

Wife to Allen Altiman. Loving Mother of Tanya Dashner predeceased, Lawrence Dashner (wife Connie) and Felicity Altiman. Cherished grandmother to Todd, Tamarra, Shania, Diamond, Dontae, Serena, Ransome and great grandchildren Auriel and Isabella. Beloved daughter of Barbara Riley and the late Walter Dashner predeceased 1986. Dear sister of Mike Dashner, Lorna Aikens (husband Lawrence predeceased) and David Riley. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Karen believed in the teachings and always had words of wisdom to share with her family and friends. She also had a very kind heart. If you needed her for anything, she was there for you. The most important thing in her life was her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Karen started her journey to the Spirit World on April 23, 2018.
