Obituary for Armand François Brideau

It is with great sadness that the family of Armand Francois Brideau announces his passing after a long illness, on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 at the age of 85 years.

Armand will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Arlene, and his children, Dina (Ernie) of Hanmer, Karen (Kenny) of Sudbury, and Terry (Lyse) of Hanmer. Armand will also be fondly remembered by his Grandchildren Jeffery (Paula), Kyle, Ryan, Megan and Andrew, along with his Great Grandchildren, Taylor, Colton and Kaden. Armand will also be remembered by his brother Roger (Anne predeceased) and his sisters Gertrude (Walter) and Irene (Roger predeceased). He is predeceased by his brothers Homer, Aurele, George and sisters Imelda and Carmen.

Armand and Arlene spent 28 winters in Florida where he loved golfing and had a great passion for wood working and gardening. Armand was a great man with a huge heart and always had a smile on his face.

A special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and PSW’s on the 8th floor at Health Sciences North.

A Celebration of Armand’s life will be held on Friday, May 11th, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
