Beloved husband of Maureen (Nee Newburn). Loving father of Bob Lavoie (Bonnie), Sylvie Colbey (Paul), John Lavoie (Vicky Li) and Jennifer Lavoie (Dave Larsen). Cherished grandfather of Kurtis, Brenen, Bennett, Mackenzie, Danika and Thomas. Predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste & Jeanette Lavoie (nee Girard) and brothers Nelson and Dennis. Survived by his sisters, Sister Huguette Lavoie & Diane Gauthier (Ray).
Yvon was a dedicated family man, who loved his family, his job and his game of golf. He had a passion for skiing that he passed along to his family.
