91 Years

Who passed away at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on May 28th, 2018 with his loving family at his side.

Charles was born in Parry Sound and married Ethelyn Alberta Sweet in 1950. They moved to Garson in 1951 where he worked at INCO’s Garson Mine for 36 years. He retired from South Mine in 1987. He was a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club.
Loving husband of Ethelyn Sweet (predeceased 1991). Cherished father of Richard (predeceased) of Garson, Susan (Rolly Noel) of Capreol, Heather (John Lindsay) (both predeceased), Patricia Sweet of Sudbury, Carole Sweet of Sudbury, Glenn (Anna) of Garson, Darlene (Jim Cappadocia) of Capreol and Grant (Lorrie) of Hanmer. Will be sadly missed by 18 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Survived loving brother of Ella Mae Rogerson (Carl) of North Bay and predeceased by William, Shirley Ann, John, Joe, Nobel, Dennis and Marie Ross. Dear son of Melvin and Marie (both predeceased). Charles enjoyed doing puzzles and chatting with the ladies at the Westmount.
